1. I cannot figure out how to change the default HAWKSTORE LOGO and background image within this theme. I also looked through the documentations on the template and didn’t see the instructions there. Can you help me with this?

2. Is there any way to have the logo below the menu so I can use the space for additional menu items and make the menu sticky?

Hi
You can change the logo of template from template > JA_Hawkstore – Home > Theme > Logo > http://prntscr.com/au3ey6 If you have more than 1 template style do the same for all others .
For the Bg image used in template , you can find and replace the image > /templates/ja_hawkstore/images/body-bg.jpg
Replace the image with same name and file extension .

Regarding change the logo position kindly post a screenshot and illustrate how u want to show the logo on site.

I tried changing the logo from the backend template manager http://prntscr.com/au3ey6 and it does not change it on the home page. I evan make it a text vs logo and you will see the hawkstore logo still shows up. With that said, I also need to change the background image and cannot locate how to do so. There isn’t even instructions on the documentation page for HawkStore.

Can you please show me.

I checked your site and found the logo is not changed for All template styles .
Here u can see it http://prntscr.com/auubjs
There is no logo added by you so its not showing .
I uploaded a logo for example and its showing fine on front end

Bg image is defined via css . if you want to change the path you can change it from

body {
    background-color: #fff;
    background-image: url("/templates/ja_hawkstore/images/body-bg.jpg");

/templates/ja_hawkstore/local/css/template.css
Change the path of image with your image path
Or
For the Bg image used in template , you can find and replace the image > /templates/ja_hawkstore/images/body-bg.jpg
