Thanks, Leo. I think my question might be for a GIMP forum, afterall. I want to change the blue pieces of the awning (from the red theme) to a darker blue that will match other content I’ll add later.

Maybe a better way to ask this is how are each of the tiles in the header-bg.psd image colored?

Your concern is related to graphic design process in our template development. You can find these in our template source:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2572 . But I can’t guide you how to change color in header-bg.psd, because I’m not that good with Photoshop.
