Hello,

I have ran into an issue with the header for the Social template.

First, I would like to completely remove the top bar (not just the Date/Last Updated/Cpanel but the bar in its entirety.

I have tried changing it using this method but the bat (line) is still showing up

I simply do not want to move the line and have that space there.. I would like to remove it so it makes the header smaller in height.

#2) I am trying to add a 468×90 banner ad in the place of the Search.

I have tried numerous search removal techniques on this forum but when I goto add the banner it is shifted very far to the right causing scroll bar to show up in the browser.

There seems to be something there that is preventing me from putting the banner there.

1) Remove in these properties ::

#ja-header {template.css (line 348)
border-top:1px solid #4FAED2; >> remove
margin-top:29px; >> remove
z-index:13;
}

2) Increase width value here accordingly::

#ja-search {template.css (line 396)
background:url(“../images/search-bg.png”) no-repeat scroll left top transparent;
bottom:50px;
height:29px;
right:10px;
width:215px;
}
