The Header slideshow navigation seems to be broken. I cant get the navigation arrows, thumbs, numbers to actually work. Anyone else have this issue?
Using firefox on Mac and Windows, and IE6, IE 7

August 3, 2008 at 9:22 am #263598I have the same issue. Selecting full arrows or thumbnails at the back end, no navigation controls show up on the front on the slides. (actually there are tiny graphics that do show up (they are barely visible) but they don’t do anything anyway. Here’s the site (still under construction): http://www.bondsbythebay.com
I am using Safari on Mac OS X (same issue on Safari on Windows, FireFox on Mac)
The other issue has to do with the slide width. I am assuming the height and width numbers in the backend refer to the height and width of the slides themselves and not the slideshow area that is to contain the slides. I have experimented with various sizes (note the current slides are below resolution – they are there only for experimental reasons, some of them also Joomla default images). I have tried images that are clearly larger than the 550X250 default size. But it still leaves a white / blank space on the right of the slide (as in the bridge picture on the current slide). Please let me know:
1. What is the ideal size for the slides?
2. The hight and width refer to the slide size itself and not the slide/module area correct? Thanks,
KennethAugust 3, 2008 at 9:00 pm #263638I seem to have solved the problem of slides sizes by setting the size parameters at 690 X 250 in the module and recreating my slides at the same exact size. But it seems like a programming logic error to me here – what’s the point of letting the parameters be changed in the backend/module then? How is a user supposed to know that 690 is the magic number and not any other width;)? it’s unintuitive to say the least.
The navigation controls issue however stays unresolved.
