Joomla site adding “our old” to the category name automatically. Is this something that the template does or something that joomla does.

The real category is not called “our old news general”. Its just called “news / general”

Hi Dan,

It’s browser page title in configuration of menu item. You should check the menu item which that category page is being assigned and navigate to ‘Page Display Options section > Browser Page Title and change the info there.

Remember to clean JAT3 cache then.

This is not linked to any menu item. I also checked the database for the text “our old” and I didn’t find anything. The my only conclusion is that it is in the template somewhere.

Any other ideas?

I just logged into backend of your site and figured out the menu item containing this ‘Browser Page Title’, it’s ‘News‘ item of News menu: http://prntscr.com/4trvye

I also changed it for you and it looks fine now.
