    I have had problems with this for about 6 months now, and hope that with new found information as to what the problem is, someone can finally help me.

    I currently run Teline II on my Joomla 1.0 production site with absolutley no issues with any components or Joomlart modules: http://dandelionclockrevolutions.com

    We are trying to convert over to joomla 1.5 on our test site, and have run into some conflicts with 1 component, and one module: Ja_News and MxComment.

    I’ve posted this on here before, but have narrowed the problem down a bit further.

    Problem:
    I’ve set this up on my test site to display the stock teline II template as it comes from JoomlArt’s quickstart. With that said, you’ll notice that the stock articles that come with Joomlart, do not come with an author attached to them.

    As soon as you add an author to the article it causes the title of an article to display as large text above Ja_News.

    I will add that this is only a problem when MxComment turned on. MxComment may be the issue, but works fine with all other modules but Ja_News

    Screenshots of symptoms:
    In Ja_News, the titles of each article are shown as they should be in this picture –

    If you look at this article in particular: Et consequat et magnis fringilla – it is displaying perfectly with the title being in its correct place

    This is how it is set up directly from the quickstart teline II. It works perfectly with mxcomment so long as the article does not have an Author assigned to it.

    When I add an author to Et consequat et magnis fringilla, it does this in Ja_News:

    In my last thread, I was told to seek help from MxComment’s developer. I will tell you that I have, but he has not responded in the last 6 months that I have been trying to fix the issue. I am turning to you guys because you have helped me before with other issues.

    Is there anyway to add in a line of code to disable MxComment from Ja_News? What could be causing the author assignment to conflict with both Ja_News and MxComment?

    I have attached all of my server information with this with hopes that you will be able to fix this problem.

    Any kind of help would be appreciated at this point!

    Thanks

    Is there any way to disable mxcomment from changing the css of janews? Or force janews to not allow any other css from manipulating it?

    Anything? Please?

    You could try the following.

    Take the css file from Mxcomment and run it through this.

    It might help.

    thanks, but stll no luck. I am not even sure it has to do with the css file.

    This is absurd. I wish I could just pay someone to fix it. Joomlart has not messaged me or anything.

    Just so everyone knows, this is the reply that Joomlart gave me through email:

    Dear xxxxxx,

    For this case, please open template.css file, at following code to the end of file:

    .contentheading {
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    Here you can change the value of site to your suitable.
    Sincerely,
    Cao Hau

    I tried doing this, but I don’t think I did it right since it’s not working. Can someone please explain, or create a template.css file that I can use with this updated configuration?

    Thanks

    Have you a live link to a 1.5 page with this problem?
