Hello all.
Would you please recommend the best Joomla website hosting company? I’ve been developing my site locally and it’s about time to publish it to the WWW.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

March 6, 2008 at 12:41 am #241405Well, I can only go by experience, but I have been very happy with http://www.aplus.net for over two years now.
They offer Joomla as an option with several of their hosting packages – one click installation.desdevlover Frienddesdevlover

March 6, 2008 at 2:39 am #241412I use Internet Connection. They are Joomla specialist and offer more in the way of protection and support that any other that I have used. The real cheap sites will put you on a shared server with just about anyone. Look at it this way, if you share a server with a high volume site yours will be very slow.

All people have different taste.
You pay for what you get, simple as that.
Rochen: Great, good service and costs a few $ more than others. Great support. And good knowledge about Joomla.
Siteground: Great, cheap, fast support. And good knowledge about Joomla.
Hostgator: Could be better.
Dreamhost: Usually slow connection for me.Very slow.
Servage: Great support, slow ftp when you upload files. The next person that posts here have very fast speeed at Dreamhost, bad support at Siteground etc, so this is a little try and fail situation for you.

March 11, 2008 at 3:36 am #241888Hi there! I’ve been using HostGator for a few months now. They have been amazing.
The prices are affordable and their support system is truly the best system I have encountered so far. They were patient and helped me out with EVERYTHING.
I did a lot of research before I picked HostGator, and I’m so happy I went with them.
Hope that helps, good luck!!

March 11, 2008 at 2:50 pm #241952Think its a good idea to get a server in your own country.
I used to have an American Server…net pivotal…great support and great speed but I had to change because I needed my site on my own countries google search engine.I was trying to sell English products to English people and although my site was on the first page in google.com my site did not show up at all in the google uk search engines.
Just something to think about.
by the way since I transfered to a UK server my sales have doubled.

March 18, 2008 at 4:03 pm #242497I’m migrating my sites from Dreamhost to Siteground as we speak. Dreamhost is constantly slow, always crashing, and their support is non-existent. Siteground has the best support of any host I’ve ever dealt with. As a Joomla newbie support is extremely important and again, I can’t overstate how good Siteground’s support has been to me. The fact that they’re also much faster than Dreamhost is just additional icing on the cake.
