    Hi, I’m hoping someone can help. I’m getting the following error on a quickstart install. I’ve installed dozens of JA’s template without a hitch until this. Can anyone help?

    mkdir(/home/newfound/public_html/images/resized/) [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/newfound/public_html/modules/mod_janews_fp/helper.php on line 143

    my website is here.. http://www.newfoundbeauty.com

    Thanks!

    You’ve got a permission problem. Change the permission on the ROOT/IMAGES/RESIZED/ folder to 775.

    That should do it.

    Make sure you are using PHP5…that was a bug in PHP4.

    Here’s your fix:

    Hi, I fixed it, I had to install another copy in another folder on the server, then copied the pathway.php file from the new fresh installation, modified it as per link in an earlier post here well, it actually instructs you to change line 209 to this one to make accomodate for the php4 the new line is $item->name = html_entity_decode($name);
    thanks to your efforts and hope my post was helpful enough.
