April 19, 2009 at 2:42 pm #301851Try this: In EXTENTIONS > MODULE MANAGER > MAIN MENU
In that module look in the “Module Parameters” and make sure the “Menu Name” is correct and that you have Menu Style set to “List”.See if that doesn’t clear it up for you.

April 19, 2009 at 3:17 pm #301861Then it’s probably a bad module installation. Happens…not often, but happens.
I agree with AtlantaJoomla…if you’re not too terribly far into the project…a good blow-out and Quickstart might be in order. These types of errors when they appear are a devil to swat…and usually caused by a bad install.
John.April 19, 2009 at 3:21 pm #301863Thank you I will try it

July 8, 2009 at 5:11 pm #310402I was having this problem and changed my menu name from main-menu to mainmenu and it worked.
Menus — Menu manager — then select menu you need fixed and make sure unique name is mainmenu.
Worked for me.
