i have installed JA Barite and cannot get to change website name from admin. i get 404 error. on the website it has heading welcome to frontpage. how can i change this?

you can change that from the /administrator/ area. Make sure that folder is up.

For Joomla 1.5 - in the admin go to "Menus", select "mainmenu", then "home"

Then in the right column you have " Parameters System"
there you can edit the page title.

For more information, if you want to hide the “Welcome to Frontpage”, just choose “No” at the “Show page title” 😉
