Can you help me in selecting a suiatble joomlart templete for file download application.

The protal will have various files available for download.

I suggest JA Villadi – Software edition as a great option.

Another great template to suit your needs would be JA Edenite, a few modifications and this template would be great for downloads.

What features do they have that cannot be done in other templates?

Ofcause every templates can be used.

The two templates that I mentioned are only my personal suggestions.

There are no features in these templates that makes them a better choice. i just like their layout and I find them great for a download site.

I did not mean to imply anything fowler,

I just came back here in mid May, after being away since early February. Joomlart came up with so many templates since then. I just came back because of JA Teline II. More for magazine (huge contents — lots of sections and categories) type of site. I like it but it has so many issues as especially the Joomla 1.5x version.

The Joomla 1.0x-Teline II is much more stable. I do not encounter many of the problems of other people.

I heard of Edenite but not JA Villadi

so when you stated Software edition, I thought there might be some feature there that was meant to make it easy how to facilitate software downloads.

I didn’t suggest the tow templates because of the functions included in the templates.

I just suggested the templates due to their design, so that joomlagt could consider them as an opportunity.

Yeah, I saw the JA Villadi, it has some good layout features.
