Hi

I am very new to joomla and i just singned up for joomlart to use their templet but i cant find any installation document.

can anyone point to any document to install the templet

Welcome to the JA membership, we will need to know what template you are trying to install before we can help you
But a general guide is make sure you have installed JOOMLA first, then enter the administrator backend , then go to menu item Installers

From that list select templates and follow the onscreen stuff

Just upload template folder (ja_anytemplate) to your /templates folder by an FTP client like FlashFXP. Then go to ACP > Site > Template Manager > Site Templates and set it to default templates.

No need to ftp to the templates folder
the installer allows you to browse to the HDD and uploads and unzips it to the templates folder automatically

Yes, you can do either one of the 2 options suggested here. I myself prefer the automatically upload but sometimes ftp is better because that way you don’t mess up the ownership of files ( some hosts there is a problem with ownership after uploading through the Joomla installer )

So you can choose whichever way you prefer!!!
