Hi all,

I have Joomla installed and running, but still have a few questions as I learn it.

How do I install the sample content if I already have a Joomla installation running? I am using one of the point-and-click setup wizards from GoDaddy where all of the server configuration is handled automatically.

I assume that if I just FTP all the sample content over it won’t work, as it won’t have all the correct information for the server, database, etc.

Do I need to delete the existing installation?

If you want the sample content database you will need to do a fresh install using the Quickstart Package. It includes Joomla version 1.0.12.

Did not work for me either. I did a fresh install on localhost, I I copies everything from the quickstart folder into the joomla folder and still get “Internal Server Error” PLEASE HELP ME

I am having problems with this too, the JA_Teline.zip works fine. I cannot get the quickstart.zip to work using the automated process nor the manual process.
