I’m afraid that JA Content Popup doesn’t support external image in this case. It will work with internal images only because, it need to get image to make some actions: thumbnail, resize image, that’s why you get that bug on your site and you have to change it to internal image.

Ohh… Ok

If is not possible i think i need other kind of module to show news sorted in rows / columns, any suggestion from Joomlart portfolio?… Of course supporting external images! 🙂

You can use Articles Category module and we defined some alternative layouts: default, accordion, features, player, tab and video, see the screenshot with features alternative layout and it support internal and external image
