When in Firefox the logo appears as it should, where it should. In Internet Explorer only JA Teline and T3 Framework logos appear.

I have attached samples. It is consistent in IE 7 on three different computers.

The JA Teline logo appears on Editorials, Opinions and Blogs.

The T3 Framework logo appears on all other pages.

    The URL is:

    alreporter.cloudaccess.net

The proper logo is located at: …images/stories/apr_logo.png

I cannot find the JA Teline and T3 Framework logos anywhere in my files.

I will be glad to PM my information.

    Thanks
    Susan

Hi – still new at this myself but I think you need to look at your template folders.
    ../templates/ja_teline_iv/images/logo.png
There is a thread on changing the logo and instructions as well that are worth reading – but sometimes the CSS that holds the background image can be tricky to track down. You need to work through each of the template folders.
Also check ../templates/ja_teline_iv/CSS/then check each css file

    good luck

    Hi Susan,

Feel free to Pm me an asmin account and FTP details. Please put a link to this thread in there too so I can find it when done.

    Hi Susan,

Thanks for your PM. Unfortunately your template.css file is read only so I cannot test and make any changes. Can you check it and adjust the permissions for me?

I just downloaded it via FTP and opened it. It may have been open on my end when you tried it. Will log out of all things related.

You will need to get those permissions sorted I am afraid. The file is still read only for me. Maybe ask your host to change it.

Also not sure if your host has a cache system in place because when I do make changes they do not appear on the live site. Is that the case?

I have a call into them now to correct the permissions. I have had others that solved problems that said they had to clean the cache. I have asked my provider if there are any other caches except for the one in the Joomla backend. They told me “No” but I’m not sure.

As soon as I hear from them I will post back to you.

    Thanks
    Susan

    Hi

Can you try it again? They say they have removed the permissions. Sorry for the delay.

    Thanks

I have just tried. Tell them that templates>ja_teline_iv>cdd>templates.css is read only

I cannot save the edited file so I cannot make the required changes. Only your host can change the permissions I fear.

I have submitted the ticket and am waiting for a call from them.

OK, logged in with sftp and I was allowed to change permissions so that bit sorted.

Thanks to John Brett who noticed you had 3 different sizes set in your css for the logo. I restored the original css and now the logo is appearing fine. I have put your logo in the right place and adjusted the paths accordingly. Hope that is OK now.
