on your template css, search for #ja-search .jr_form .jr_fieldDiv

and remove the left padding,…keep playing around with it and you might also consider reducing the size of the input box

Yes, you try to find the following code inside the template.css file

#ja-search .jr_form .mediumField {
width:12em;
}

replace:

#ja-search .jr_form .mediumField {
width:10em;
}
