Great news! I finally got the 3 other languages to show up! It took me the whole day but I managed. The problem I face now is making the other language sites look like the main English site. I need some direction and advice for this, as they are looking very different than the main english site.

i am really struggling to set up the other languages. I have read the other forums and duplicated all the default template style. I configured the correct main menu for the associated language.

1. Backend > Extensions > Templates >I duplicated the template styles for all 6 sites. Now each language has 6 new template styles: SSWorld – Default in French, SSWorld – Default in Russian, Agro World – Default in Arabic etc E

2. I went to the Navigation tab and assign the correct menu for each template style

3. I opened the ‘Assignment’ tab and assigned the template style to all the correct menu items.

I set up all the new language menus and checked all menu items to confirm they were linked to the correct template style.

I do not know why the main nav menu for each language site is still not showing up. I would really appreciate some kind assistance. Many thanks in advance.

Also africa.yabanciturkler.com/en/ is now missing the menu…

I believe something I must have missed a step or something has gone wrong with the settings…

Hi,

Basically, in multilingual website, you will need to have:

• Modules
• Menus
• Template styles

for each language. In the template style settings, check 2 important tabs: Navigation / Assignment. In ‘Navigation’ tab, you need to select the correct Menu of that language and assign this template style to associated menu item of that language via ‘Assignment’ tab.

Hi Saguaros,

Thanks for getting back to this, I have checked through everything twice to make sure. The modules, menus and template styles are all set up correctly…

One thing that I may have done differently is that instead of using the language switcher type module, I am using the mod_vlanguage type module. The language switcher type module was not able to show the other languages, only UK English…

Could you please kindly check to see if I am missing something else? I am getting quite stressed from not being able to solve this problem. I sincerely look forward to hearing some good news from you.

WONDERFUL NEWS! I MANAGED TO FIX IT! I needed to configure my virtual domains component to allow the language menus to show. It is now working. I cannot be happier!

Also the translated K2 items in the different languages did not have the image linked, do i need to relink them for all 3 languages again.. Is there a quicker way to do this as I have over 200 K2 items…
