December 7, 2011 at 10:49 am #171552I’ve tried doing it all on my own but now at the stage where I need some help! Treat me gently I’m not technical! 🙂
JA Masshead Module
If I enter no text in either the default title or the default description I can still see something on the masshead – where text would have been. For me a picture alone is enough but unlike the Slideshow there are no buttons to push to not publish text. Is there a way that I can have nothing on the masshead?
Right, now to the real problem. It has to have been me that somewhere down the line that caused the problem but I have no idea what I did. I have a multi-language site and followed the post on here to set-up a second template for one of the languages.
That works except that when I click on categories in the left side, instead of jumping to a page with the masshead and the category picked I jump to the category picked but the slideshow returns at the top. The url does not show jshopping in it but my homepage does. Just to clarify the slideshow appears on all pages (set to only homepage) instead of the masshead.
What have I done wrong?
Thanks in advance for all your help.

December 7, 2011 at 11:17 pm #428556I’d really like to thank Joomlart and everyone else who has taken the time to respond and offer help. It has been enlightening that so much is given so freely to a new and inexoerienced member. Really inspiring.

I believe it’s within the same folder as the emoticons for “patience” and “gotta love that sarcasm.”😎

When you made and saved your changes, did you also clear your JAT3 and browser cache before refreshing your page?Perhaps you can post a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?

Nestling alongside “low expectation”
It seems to be a subject that gets lots of views and no comments i.e. http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/home-page-worries/ or maybe even this one http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/multilanguage-megamenu/
Can’t find a faq for it or anything in the template install guide either.
A drowning man’s gonna shout Tom. You may not have given me the answer I’d like but at least I now know SOMEONE is listening!
Thanks
😎

Sounds great . . . And if/when you arrive at your solution, perhaps you can share it here – so that others who may experience a similar issue can learn and benefit from your experience and resolution.🙂
