~ I am very new to Joomla and am still trying to figure everything out. I’m a little stuck on how the submenu works in this template. Could someone please give me an explanation on how to utilize this feature?

Just create some submenu for the Main menu and you will see the submenus on the left. We also provide a readme.txt file in the template

To expand on this thread…

Is there a way to control the submenu? On main menu items with submenus, I get the new top left/submenu thing AND the drop down in the main menu. If I create a new menu below the main menu, the submenu doesn’t seem to activate – I just the uncollapse/drop down. How to I get the top left submenu to appear with created menus?

check your settings on the module Main Menu to see if you have Expand Menu option on Yes or NO

I see that – I think it just applies to whether or not the meny appears uncollapsed at all times. I wan the Submenu to work for the created menu (the JA submenu that appears for each item) not just the default main menu.
