Hello

This is my first post on the forums. Can anyone tell me how to set up the suckerfish menus. I suspect that this is more of a Joomla issue than a templae issu but I have had a look on Joomla and not been able to find anything.

If anyone can offer advice or point me in the direction of any tutorials it would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is something to do with parent items etc but I am at a loss to find any decent literature or tutorials regarding this

In the template index.php file, set value for $ja_menutype to 2 to use Suckerfish menu.

Hi Khan

Thanks for the reply. I have done that. What I need to know is how to assign the different items to drop down. This is for a PC Gaming website. So on the main menu I would like to have my desired sections and then dropping down have the relevant categories.

Is this possible ?

Create a new menu item and when saving it, make sure you place it “below” another menu item. It is as easy as this ( if I understand your question correctly that is )
