hello

i need help with url of image on the header-r position,
i can’t figure out the way to change the url links when in different pages on the site.
i mean when in different menu on the site the link of the image is different but don’t know how to change it

Hi kozakos,

In this case, I’d suggest you to insert the link to the ads image in Custom HTML module again using the Joomla default form with disabling the JSN Uniform. Remember to clear JAT3 cache after making changes.

It seems that this plugin encodes the HTML codes not correctly. Lets try on my suggestion and don’t forget to inform me the result.

i unistall the jsn form module

my question is the i can’t figure out how come the image in the header-r position is linking to different url depenting of the menu button pressed .

when in the home page http://www.symmaxiapoliton.org/cy/2/ the image is linking correctly to http://www.symmaxiapoliton.org/cy/2/component/content/article?id=466 as i set it up in the Custom HTML module of Header-Ads
when in the http://www.symmaxiapoliton.org/cy/2/tech the image is linking to
http://www.symmaxiapoliton.org/cy/2/tech?id=466

when in http://www.symmaxiapoliton.org/cy/2/thematikes-symmaxies the image is linking to http://www.symmaxiapoliton.org/cy/2/thematikes-symmaxies?id=466

how this is working out

Hi kozakos,

You can realize that the external link inside Custom HTML module or Joomla articles is implemented differently with the external link of External URL menu item type. That is why you can’t use the alias link of an internal article as an external link.

The solution is using the full url to link the image. The HTML format of Header Ads module should be:

<p><a href="component/content/article?id=466" target="_blank"><img src="images/logo/katastatiko-web.jpg" alt="slot" title="slot" width="275" height="72" style="float: right;" /></a></p>

Can you clear browser cache and check the header ads again ? Don’t forget to inform me your result.
