July 2, 2011 at 5:40 pm #399630Hi,
In templatesja_teline_ivcoreetcprofileshome.ini, you set
hide_content_block=1
means hiding content of home
hide_content_block=0
means showing content of homeJuly 3, 2011 at 2:47 am #399650Hi,
I opened the templatesja_teline_ivcoreetcprofileshome.ini and found out that is already “hide_content_block=1”
The content is still showing in my home..
thank you

July 27, 2011 at 9:16 am #403280Hi there…
And for a multi-language site?
I had to set the “home” page for each language in the same menu because as far as I understand, JA Teline IV allows just one menu as “main menu” regardless the number of languages you have installed.
So, for instance, my spanish home hides the content block correctly by default, but when I switch to portuguese the content block is there…
any workaround?
Thanks 🙂

July 27, 2011 at 9:26 am #403283Neither helps going to template management in backend and selecting Hide main content block in profile, because it hides every article, featured list, etc.

July 29, 2011 at 10:27 pm #403676In the profiles make a copy of the profile you are using and set in the copy the hide main content block option. Then on the page assignment in the global tab you can select the pages or section you want a particular profile to appear. So if you only want to hide the content block on the homepage you can set it to do just that.
The profiles tab just defines the profiles, the page assignments are where the real power is as that is where you can select the profiles.

November 2, 2011 at 8:26 pm #422988Have you tried my above post?
November 2, 2011 at 10:06 pm #422994Tried it and none worked. I even downloaded the quickstart on my own server and it did not fix it either.
