Want to hide the “published” radio button but K2 item still auto “Published”.
set <?php $this->lists[‘published’]; ?> just dont work because that ‘pubulished’ here is an object of radio button sets.

How to assign its value to 1 before save it to database?

This belongs to K2 component itself, did you try to raise your concern in K2 forum?
