Hi,

I would like to show a menu in the left position on ALL pages on my site EXCEPT for the homepage. How can I do this?

I do not want to specify which pages the menu module appears on in it’s set-up because every time a new page is added I will need to remember to select that page also.

In effect I want my menu assignment to be any of:

• All except homepage
• All except Selected Menu Item(s) from the List

I believe an option like this is in fact available in Joomla 1.6 but I am using 1.5 and not in a position to upgrade. See also my related post which was an attempt to achieve this without success (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/show-module-on-all-pages-except-one-hide-left-column/).

Hi,
Yes , in joomla 1.7 on Module Assignment there are an option “On all page except those selected”, so it will useful for you.
I suggest you to update your joomla to 1.7 version because it have more option also more security.
