    Hi everyone,

    I have disabled all the article icons (Jommla 2.5.3, Purity_II) above joomla article, but an empty box with a grey border still visible. How can it be elimininated totally?? I dont need any icons ( and also, I do not need an empty contentheading box with a grey border :confused: )

    Hi,

    The first step is to log in to the Administration area (the back end) of your site and go to the Article Manager. Once inside the Article Manager, select the “Options” icon.

    Once inside the options area, find the “Show Icons”,”Show Print Icon”,… option, and select “Hide” instead of “Show”. Save your work, return to the front end of the site, and hit refresh.

    Hi,

    yes,it should work this way. This works well for a single article layout, but in category blog layout, an empty box is left as you could see on attached images. Of course, i should adjust the css to override this problem. Check the images. Everything is turned off, all icons, category display etc. Thanks in advance.
