    Hi all,

I’d like to hide the title of the article and the category in the Breadcrumbs Pathway. Is that possible? Ideally, articles would only have “You Are Here: Section” in the Breadcrumbs line (as opposed to “You are here: Section: Category: Article title”

I need to do this because we’re using generic category titles that we don’t want readers to see. For example our “Business” section is divided into “biz1, biz2 and biz3” categories. There’s no significance to the categories, they’re just placeholders.

    Thanks much,

    Dustin

You’re outside of the realm of easy hacks…as you are wanting to mess with a core Joomla function.

To do what you want to do you are going to need a full blown module built to do that.
The closest I know if is this little ditty: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/site-navigation/4546

    Have fun.
    John.

All this time I just realized why it’s called “Breadcrumbs” … thanks so much! 😀
