    Hi team,

I have make a website who is an intranet with the template JA Community with Joomla 1.5.22 and with wampserver 2.All is on windows server 2003 service pack 2. On the backend template I have minify, join and compress css and js. With that, I have install the JA Compress with minify the css and js too. I have activated the cache on the template on the backend and activated too on the JA Compress Plugin.

With all that configuration I have my intranet website slow. Inside there is only files with the phocadownload component and some few articles. I have test it with firefox with Yslow and it tell me there is 5 requests (2 google analitycs JS and 3 line with gzip). The home page upload with 6 or 7 seconds.

The big problem is when I click on the menu anywhere I have my CPU at 100% and it down to 2% or 4% when the page is upload all.

What can I do to reduce a lot my CPU server. One things, I can’t give you an access because it’s an intranet. Perhaps if you give me your fixed IP. I can give you an access for a few days.

    Thanks for help.

    Dear abdenour,

it is pretty hard to tell you exactly what caused your site is loaded slowly,If you have any of extension that connect to facebook or twitter or some thing like that please turn it off,as you know when it try to connect to internet while your network is intranet it would caused you site load slowly.

Thanks for your reply. My CPU is high (100%) only when I click on one of the menu item. After the page is complete, the CPU down to 5%. The problem is only when I navigate around the main menu items. On my website I have activated the join, compress and minify css and javascript. And I install and activated the JA Compress plugin. Can we activated the both or only one.

    Hi abdenour,

Once you have select to enable compress and minify css and javascript in the template back-end then the JA Compress plugin is not necessary, you can disable this plugin.
