March 26, 2009 at 9:44 am #298168i have plans for the sub domains but wish this install to be the overarching mainsite so it needs to reside in root, right?

March 26, 2009 at 9:46 am #298169i doubt the tooltip problem is associated with permissions since it did not display any errors after it turned error reporting to maximum.
i could only point it to server issue but then again, why does it work in contents but not inside modules? this has really got me stumped.

March 26, 2009 at 8:03 pm #298312Thanks for the concern and quite legitimate it is too but what I posted in the forum was in fact just a Guest a/c with no Admin rights/access that has since been disabled. I fully understand the reasons and thanks for flagging the rules up to me 😉 I guess you are referring to my passing the details via PM to jsliao?
Anyway, thank you for your response and if you know why the ToolTips are not showing I would sure appreciate your view
Cheers

LMAO! Woo actually give help on the forum? Unlikely.
If you can re-enable the guest account or PM me an account I’ll be happy to have a look.

March 27, 2009 at 6:53 pm #298555Ok I’ve had a look and your syntax is correct. What version of PHP are you running? I think your running 4. For JA Tooltip to run correct you must be using PHP5. It will run in the main content on PHP4 but not in the modules.
If you are with a decent host they should have a button to switch to PHP5… otherwise request it from tech support.

March 27, 2009 at 8:19 pm #298567lol… you’re welcome.
April 16, 2009 at 3:57 pm #301586I follow all this forum but i don’t find my solution. Highslide is working, there are the links of the images in the module but not the thumbnail images. The folders (resized/imaged/stories/demo) setup access is 755 as your explanation, all images are resized. When i install the demo package, highslide doesn’t work too (but it’s working on my local computer with mamp). My PHP version is 5.2.5-pl1-gentoo .
Could you help me please?
Stephane

April 16, 2009 at 3:59 pm #301587hi Stephanie, make sure you have the folder /resized inside your /images folder and set this /resized to 777 that should do the trick, give it a try and let us know
