hello,
My name is Leonard and I am facing a problem in developing my site.
Should be a simple problem, unfortunately I am unable to find a solution.
Have a look please at this link: http://www.yourpresent.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=68&Itemid=99
As you can see, inside the article Chester city walls is a map.
What I want is when the reader is clicking the picture, that map to became bigger with a Highslide effect.
What do I have to do?
I have tried to achieve this in many way. No luck. In my point of view I should write something inside the article…. but what?
Please give me a little bit of help. I am sure is a simple tricky thing.
Thank you in advances,
Leonard.pavit Moderatorpavit

August 25, 2011 at 3:34 pm #408468Hi Leonard
you must install the Ja Highslide Plugin for joomla 1.5 here the link for download http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=10089
after installed enable the plugin
and use the sintax like in this sample http://demo.joomlart.com/extensions15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=116&Itemid=55#
August 25, 2011 at 7:00 pm #408519thank you for you quick reply.
I did everything in the way you have told me.
Unfortunately is still not ok.
Let’s refer to the following example: “CHESTER MUSEUMS”. If you’ll press on”Main Menu”, “Discover Chester”,”Back in Time”, “Chester Museum” you’ll get the following error:Warning: require_once(plugins/content/ja_tabs/parser.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/yourpres/public_html/plugins/content/ja_highslide.php on line 66
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘plugins/content/ja_tabs/parser.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/yourpres/public_html/plugins/content/ja_highslide.php on line 66
The image I have used for the article “Chester museum” is: Eastgate.jpg and is located in images/stories .
The syntax I have used in the article in the place I want the highslide image is :{highslide type=”img” src=”Eastgate.jpg” width=200 captionText=’Sample image’ } {/highslide}
I don’t really understand where the mistake is…..
Ps: I was creating the sintax after I have read the documentation, especially this paragraph:When create new or edit a article for Joomla! 1.5, you can insert highslide tags as following:
• 1. Type = Img:
• {highslide type=”img” url=”demo/gallery/gl-22.jpg” width=200 captionText=’Sample image’ }
• {/highslide}
• or:
• {highslide type=”img” url=”demo/gallery/gl-13.jpg” captionText=”Sample image” display=none }
• Click me to view Image
{/highslide}
o type = img
o event:(click, loadbody)
event = loadbody in the case you want popup open automatically, you can use ‘Loaddelay’, ‘notshowagain’ parameter to set time delay for popup( unit ms )
Value default click
o src:is the image relative path in case image locate in folder images/stories. all images without absolute path (without http://) must be placed in folder images/stories.
For example: let say you have sample.jpg in folder images/stories/demo, then the link you put in src params will be: src=”demo/sample.jpg”
src = image’s name if image uploaded in the stories directory.
src = full name of image like http://joomla.com/images/abc.gif.
o display:set show/hide for the thumbnail image. Value defaul is show.
o class: the class for thumbnail image.
o width: width of the thumbnail image.
