December 18, 2009 at 3:14 am #146936If the title makes sense.:p
I am desperately trying to place highslide in a module with an image link to another module (position: web2). Highslide does function normally in articles, but modules do not recognize normal highslide syntax, and just displays the code text on the front end. example->
{highslide type=”modules” position=”web2″ outlineType=”rounded-white” width=600 height=400 captiontext=”This is demo content” }Click me to display{/highslide} –does not work in module
But if I use an html version, it works..but this is for an iframe…example->
<a class=”video” href=”http://www.youtube.com/v/ZPigvOJqAOI” onClick=”return hs.htmlExpand(this, { objectType: ‘iframe’, width:425, height:355 } )”><img src=”images/stories/car.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”video” align=”left” /></a> -works in module, wrong type need module not iframe
So what exact code would I use for highslide to show a module referencing position title or even an id? I just need a specific module to appear inside the box.
As an alternate solution, I tried to use the standard highslide module and for some reason when i select the “type”, it will not let me save the module, only if i leave the type blank will it allow me to save….SO, if I can just get the plugin to do this I would be greatly happy!
PLEASE HELP!:eek:

December 22, 2009 at 8:07 pm #327191Try using {loadposition modposition}
For instance…create a module using your custom content…and save it to a custom position, like “custom1” Joomla will accept almost anything you call it.
Then try calling it with the simple command above. i.e. {loadposition custom1}Have fun!

December 23, 2009 at 12:15 am #327218Jbrett,
Thanks for the response.
I think you may have missed the question a bit. This could work partly, but the goal is to have highslide pop up the module. The problem is, the joomlart suggested syntax for the highslide in a module isnt working in a module. The second syntax above fires highslide, but I cant use this to display a module within it, only an external page or image. Any idea how I could change the syntax of the second one above to display a module?I have been hoping someone from joomlart will answer one day. I had just renewed by membership really to only get this one question answered…so far its been a waste of money… 🙁
