    Hi,

The visitor counter is not working properly. According to the Google Analystics reports, it is displaying less than expected value.

Hello article hit counter is handled by core Joomla .
if you are using Joomla cache then hit count will not work . because of cache content .
Joomla hit count and google analytics both are different , joomla hit count is not advance as google analytics .
For visitor stats i suggest you to use google analytics .

For more info about it please write this issue on Joomla Forum

    Hello again.
We are using Google Analytics for professional reports, but also want visitors to see the actual number on site, considering it has a huge motivating impact on visitors to read the articles.
Is it possible to exclude the hit counter from Joomla cache?

    Thanks in advance…
