Your best option would be to install a copy of the quickstart on your localhost using WAMP or similar so you can compare all the settings from our demo with your live site.

Hi,

To display the Frontpage articles with styling in demo,

1. Go to Joomla admin panel > Menus > Main Menu (the menu with star marked) > Home (your default menu item).
2. Click on the menu item to edit it, click on Parameters (System) in right column and put _fp in Page Class Suffix and save the menu and check Home page of the site..
