August 21, 2012 at 9:00 pm #464888Hello again…
Okay so.. The home button on the main menu use to work properly and would return to the home page. When I hover over the button a window says “http://www.waterlineindustries.net/” which is correct with out the https. Somehow when the button is pressed the dialogue requests a “https” instead and the “s” for secure makes it reroute and the homepage is not visible. This also happens from my android phone as well. I never made a change or requested security as far as I recall… Not sure where to change it…. whether host cpanel or joomla cpanel???

August 22, 2012 at 2:59 am #464904Hi Mario again,
Please disable SSL in these 2 places:
– Site > Global configuration: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/634/8970053627.png
– Menus > Main menu > Home menu item: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/634/2558691979.pngIf ‘https’ still appears, it may due to your server configuration, you can ask your hosting provider for help.
Regards.

August 22, 2012 at 6:35 am #464922I solve part of the issue.. most access has been restored…
check your configuration.php file . . . the following setting should be at 0 instead of 1 or 2 like you see here…var $force_ssl = ‘1’;
this did not solve the home button issue tho.. that continues to redirect… gonna keep lookin…

August 22, 2012 at 6:34 pm #465018Thank you This worked…. and all SSL issues are solved and working.. One other issue came up as of a result of my clumsy fingers.. While working on the homepage admin window… I hit the REBUILD button by accident… my homepage is now set as list form and it may have re-sized the pertaining articles attached some how. I know how to access via ftp and can replace files easily. Which files do I need to replace with originals to get the default sizing and layout.. for example..??? ls it the template CSS or is layout CSS file. Which file dictates sizing or can I find something to change it back in Joomla???
Thank you…

August 29, 2012 at 7:42 am #465710Hi Mario,
Have you handled it? In frontend, there are 2 buttons which allow you to change layout view of current page: Linear or Grid layout: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/642/6659933814.png.
You can also change default layout in Backend > Extensions > Template manager > Your default template > Advanced options section
And let me know if you need further assistant.
