I’m using the 1.5 version of the ja_polaris template on my 1.5.8 joomla site.

I’ve noticed that when I click the “Home” option in the main Joomla window, the URL is getting messed up.

When I click “Home”, I’m sent to: http://www.bearwatch.net/index.php/home

This causes the template to completely disappear.

Any ideas about what might be causing this?

This is caused because you turned on search friendy url’s.

This recreates all url’s wich now is causing your home problem.

Did you enable the integrated option in joomla or did you install a 3th party plugin for doing this?

If you installed a 3th party plugin for this (i use 404sef) then you can easy manually edit the entry the plugin created for the home menu so it works again, and you can still use your site with SEF on.
