So I am trying to create the design that looks like the default home page but to work with my blue theme.
The default style of the template is the blue one. So for the home page I made it the style home
http://lynchemsports.com/I have no clue on how to change the default style for the layouts so that it is blue.
So here is a quick list of the issues.
1. Make the home page layout be the style of the entire site with logo ect and color scheme
2. Be able to set up the same style for latest news on home page.I have created the demo instance, and made the exact same specifications and I have no idea why it is not showing up correctly.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well I dont really want new module positions, just new titles. Why in the world would Position-3 and position-6 be missing from the dropdown menu? lol
April 18, 2013 at 3:28 am #490249So I made some test articles with an intro image and everything just like the articles in the demo.
I added the Article Category Module as well & made the exact same settings. The only differences is that I am using position-2 instead of mas-col because I have no idea on how to adjust home-page layout so that it will keep the design of blue instead of the orange.
Any tips on what I need to do?

April 19, 2013 at 6:37 pm #490485Thanks! got the layout to look like the demo.
Now there is one more problem. When you click on the article it does not appear, it just adds the url to home page.
Can you also show me where do I go to set up how the article display page will look?

April 22, 2013 at 2:46 pm #490720In Joomla, if you want to view article individually, that article must be assigned to a menu item.
Please create a new menu item (or use an existing one) and assign article (or category that article belongs to) to this new menu item and also make sure that you don’t assign any module to this menu item.
