I’m trying to display one item of content on the home page, with just the intro text.
When clicking on the “Read More” box, the entire content is then displayed on the home page, instead of taking the reader to a “content page”, where it would be more properly displayed.

In other words, I don’t want the “Read More” link to expand the full content on the home page, I want it to take the reader to a content page where only the story is displayed.

This is the same for a vast number of templates, you can find an answer to your question in this post here or you can do the easier way and do a typed link…..type read more or details and just hyperlink to the page you want, another way is to get two images of your own and do a mouse over effect in your image editor
