Hi I am having a couple of problems with my website:
http://www.meetonthenorthcoast.com/newsite/
1) – The home page looks as if it is offline and the template (JATravel) has disappeared – although it is present when i click to other areas of the website
2) Every time i update something in the website ie new link, new module to page it take a long time before i actually see it on my website… I refresh and refresh… sometimes its not to the nnext day i see the changes that i made the previous day showing up. other example are when i publish an article for the slideshow modeul it will not appear till the next day.
Can anyone help me with these two issue..
All help greatly appreciated
Thanks

Not 100% clear as to the issue here. When I clicked your link, I believe I saw your site “Meet on the North Coast” as it is supposed to be. (as far as I can tell, at least … not knowing what I am supposed to be seeing).
What elements are you referring to that indicate to you an “offline” status?

I experience this kind of issue from time to time as well. I believe it has far more to do with your/our particular browser and internet/bandwidth connection at a given time than the template. There are times when you/we need to clear both the Joomla Cache (from the administration backend) AND our own computer browser cache. More times than not, this resolves the issue – although there have been a few scant times when I needed to close out and reopen my browser altogether to get the changes to display. Again, this has much more to do with my own connectivity and browser issues than anything else.
The only other issue I can think of is that, perhaps, your FTP client/method isn’t transferring the updated files fully – again, a potential ISP connection issue.
As a general rule, it is a good idea to clear your Joomla cache (from the admin backe4nd) regularly anyway.
Let me know if any of that helps your issue.
