March 18, 2014 at 9:54 pm #195915How would I go about setting up the menu on my page to scroll down to the section that is tied to the menu link – as in JA Onepage.
Seems like Appolio is a template based on Onepage – so do I take the same approach as with JA Onepage to have my menu links scroll down to where I anchor them? I gave it a whirl and had no luck initially, so I thought I would ask here to make sure that I can have my links scroll to anchors on the page and I am on the right track following the JA Onepage documentation. I’d hate to try and solve the conundrum for 3 hours only to realize it wasn’t possible within the parameters of the template.

JA Onepage and JA Appolio are two different templates. In JA Onepage, you must have modules in onepage position and tie the menu with module title so that when you click menu item, it will scroll down to appropriate module/section. While in JA Appolio template, we use parallax design and you need to use CSS and JS to have animation like that.

March 19, 2014 at 6:20 pm #527371I suppose all those mentions of the “Onepage” position in the documentation and the fact that “onepage” is listed among the module positions made me think that Appolio was based on Onepage incorrectly. Did not mean to impugn with my assertion.
To clarify:
I can just place a unique ID on each module and tie an anchor tag to the area on the same page instead of using the ?Itemid={Home Page ID}#{module_title} syntax that made that happen in Onepage?

March 20, 2014 at 10:48 am #527472In the version 1.0.1 of JA Appolio template, we changed the position “onepage” to “paralaxx”. You can find out more at this user guide.

It’s impossible. As my previous reply, this need heavy customization. If you want to use the menu as JA Onepage in JA Appolio template, you need to customise yourself.

March 20, 2014 at 8:01 pm #527523That’s all I needed to know. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t possible before I dove into it myself. Feel free to close the question as answered.
