I changed two of the images in the slideshow, cleared cache and they are not showing. I checked permissions and code. Unable to find an error. What should be done next, please?

Happy New Year and thanks! Will give admin access to Super Mods.

    Regards,
    Geovi/Avis

Thank you. I cleared cache “everything” (FireFox) several times. I’m on a different computer now and the images I uploaded still aren’t showing. Apparently on my end. I’ve rebooted computer…everything. Not sure. Will get it sorted.

Also, in IE8, Google Chrome and Safari, the red color in User 1, User 2 and User 3 is shown as grey for this template. The red doesn’t show on my monitors. Thought that was strange.

Thanks for your help! Trying to understand the other answer re: blog & frontpage articles.

    Avis 🙂

I decided to check with my Hosting company, A Small Orange, they are great! They found the problem. Here is there answer in case it can help someone else.

Avis,

Just ran a quick check that might be helpful.

On the Invisalign, Metal, Ceramic, or Lingual the slide I previously saw a lady lying in the grass reading a book.

When I right-click to try and download that file, I am prompted to save the file with the following name:

    sl-1_470_215.jpg

I ran a search for that file and it appears in the following directory:

    */images/resized/images/stories/slideshow/

I moved that file to sl-1_470_215.jpg.orig and copied sl-1.jpg from the other directory (*/images/stories/slideshow) and I now see the black male in the slide.

It looks like Joomla is pulling from the resized location for those slides. I’d say there’s definitely a Joomla configuration setting at issue here.

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

They did the same thing with the other image sl-4.jpg and it worked. Now the new images are showing on 4 browsers and my three computers.

I appreciate you help. Now to that frontpage/blog stuff. Aman thanks again!

    My best,
    Avis/Geovi
