August 20, 2012 at 8:28 am #180064Although I’m a full developer member, I think that Elastica is realy cool.
I’ve built three sites using the template and have been able to work out all the stuff I need to do.
I’ve read the Wiki and the guidelines, but I can’t seem to figure out where the bit I need to change is defined.
I’ve been playing around off line, but have now installed a live site.
What I am trying to do is arrange the layout so that the extra column (or any extra column) is on the left hand side in all the desktop and tablet layouts. This will hold a sub navigation and some global link buttons so I’d like it in a fixed space.
This what I mean
I tried creating a template layout, but the css overrides the positioning.
I looked through the css, but I can see the widths of the columns, but not the horizontal positioning/spacing….
This is for a new project and I have some budget to pay for someone to fix it.
Hope you can help
Don
PS the site install is a vanilla elastica install at the moment…
