Both are placed on different position and not come in same line , but you can try this code in custom.css file

.chzn-container {
    display: -webkit-inline-box;
}

I hope it work as you needed .

if you will add it , it will work , For more customization i suggest you to use firebug / inspect element tool from browser and override the style via custom.css
