    Hi

I have a small problem with hot topic. The picture in my article doesn’t resize with hot topic, even though i turn on autoresize in hot topic module. I saw in the live demo site and all the articles use only small pictures. Does anyone know how to fix this? My site is mars.nki.no

PS I use the latest version 1.6 teline II

    Hi

I looked around in the forum and found a patch, but this still doesn’t help.

I also had this problem and in the end I got frustrated so I manually cropped and sized each image in Photoshop to 150 x 200 pixels. Works fine for me!

hi it’s my students who wrote the article, and not everyone of them know how to crop image size

How about using a thumbnail creator for that job. There are a bunch of freewares out there…

i suppose i can find one, but the mod_ja_catslwi already have a function to resize images.

It uses the thumbnails I think, when you find two pics each, it is not resizing but using different images. JA Flowlist resizes and is a XML Module but the slider can use only the thumbnails I suppose.

You can look for a freeware called EZTHUMBS or comparable, I just used it today as the 1000px pics I fed JA Flowlist with slowed down the site a lot. So I created 300px pics for the Flowlist.

(When you have students, you may be a tutor, and can get also better software then freeware for less then usual I think.)
