February 16, 2009 at 3:22 am #138176Is it possible to increase the number of images displayed in “Hot Topics” module from the currently displayed 5 to 8 or 10? If so – how?

Yes it’s possible. Go to ‘Module Manager’ and open ‘Hot Topics’ module. Then just change ‘Number of Elements’ here:

February 16, 2009 at 2:22 pm #291778I actually tried that before I posted my question, and for some reason it did not work – strange. What then could have prevented it from working?

February 16, 2009 at 2:34 pm #291781Hi mzaf
This may sound like a really crazy question … but … you do have more than five articles published in your ‘Hot Topics’ category?
Sorry if that sounds offensive, it was just a thought! 🙂

February 16, 2009 at 2:42 pm #291784hi questbg,
No, I don’t have more then 5. By the way, what made u ask it – was my post unclear? I didn’t find your question offensive, and I do appreciate your prompt reply.questbg Friendquestbg

No, your post was very clear, just sometimes, without a live website, it’s very difficult to get to the bottom of a problem! :-[
OK. Say for instance, your demo site looks like this:
And you want to add another Hot Topic underneath ‘Aliquam et dictum’
First thing is go to module manager and make the 5 to ‘6’ here:
Next, you would have to go to the Hot Topics Category and Duplicate an article. For instance, if you selected ‘Aliquam et dictum’ and copied this into the same ‘Hot Topics’ category, this would then give you six articles in Hot Topics, and the duplicated one would come below the original, like this:
I hope we can keep working together until we fix this! 🙂
Best Regards
