Hey folks, just loaded an SSL onto my website and it has had a slight effect on the visuals – it’s screwed it completely and my site is useless on HTTPS! 🙁 I’ve attached a couple of images to show with/without the SSL enabled. Help!

January 26, 2016 at 1:24 am #868358Hi
Kindly check the permission of files/folders on your site, as I can see that most of them has status of 403 (Forbidden error): http://prntscr.com/9uvk9n
The recommended permission should be: file-644 and folder-755
January 26, 2016 at 1:36 pm #868876What you’re saying does make sense, but the folder permissions are fine as the site works very well in HTTP but not HTTPS.
My understanding of Apache servers is that they ‘read’ the content but it is executed in the environment, the file itself is not executed so 755 would be too relaxed.January 26, 2016 at 1:39 pm #868878Hi I understand what you’re saying but it doesn’t make sense as the site works fine in HTTP but not HTTPS.
The folder/file permissions are set to allow ‘read’ but i don’t see a need to allow ‘execute’? The server is Apache and i’ve never ever ever had to set an execute permission just to get HTTPS working.January 26, 2016 at 1:42 pm #868881Why are my replies not appearing on this forum?
I knew i should’ve gone elsewhere to buy a template… -
