October 22, 2012 at 12:15 pm #181606When a user arrives to http://173.254.15.37/next/ and clicks on any one of the articles (or the associated sidebar which has the similar name as the article, my question is: Which responsive plugin or component, or other enhanced feature or method can I use to achieve the look and feel of the attached graphic?
For example, a user wither on “Aconcagua” on the sidebar menu, or the user clicks on the article “Aconcagua year-round-info” and then sees a layout like the attached graphic?
An easy solution of course is to build old fashioned tables to achieve this, but I have to believe there is a better method?
FYI, In the attached example, if a user clicks on “Inka Tours” or any one of the other items, the user then will have a new tab open with a direct link to that companies website or other web presence. That part is easy since inside an article it is easy to create an external URL which wither opens in a new window or not.
Also, for the time being until the articles are properly translated, it is my idea to show the English language articles, when the user is in a different language, but at least the sidebar is already translated which gives, for example, a Spanish language user the opportunity to at least see the category on the sidebar menu in his/her own language, even though for the time being the user will be tranmsported to the English language article.
So again, my key question is:
Which responsive plugin or component, or other enhanced feature or method can I use to achieve the look and feel of the attached graphic? without resorting to s simple old fashioned series of tables.Thank you!

October 23, 2012 at 3:09 am #470824Hello seaneo,
As of now, JA Wall hasn’t supported this feature yet.
Feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.
Regards.

October 23, 2012 at 4:18 pm #4708961) Sorry for the dumb first question
2) For the sidebar links to work, I have it resolved now to just show the articles, as originally intended by the prgrammers of JA WALL.AuthorPostsViewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total)This topic contains 3 replies, has 2 voices, and was last updated by seaneo 12 years, 1 month ago.
