    1) Install and use Akeeba Backup first. Preferably download the resulting .jpa file to your PC.
    2) Install j2xml on both sites. (I assume here that you have built a new Magz-ii site without content.)
    3) Transfer the articles from your Teline V site to your Magz-ii site using j2xml SEND or EXPORT/IMPORT.

I expect others may suggest some other method but I have done the above and it works so long as everything is correctly configured. Both are on JED and free extensions. Good luck.

J2xml will transfer your Categories, Images, Users etc if you ask it to do so. Install it, on both sites, and you’ll see the options. Try just an article or 2 to get the hang of it first. You will still need to setup your Menus manually on Magz-ii.

Does your Teline IV site use the Images and Links feature or are the images only in the text? You can see a few sites where we use J2XML here:

    http://www.globalprintmonitor.info/index.php/en/ http://news-sgi.globalprintmonitor.org/en/ http://mwinda.org/fr/ http://mt5j345.mwinda.org/ (not live yet)

Don’t forget to do a full site backup (default setting) with Akeeba Backup first. https://www.akeebabackup.com/ and download the .jpa file to your PC. It will include EVERYTHING in your Teline IV site in ONE compressed file.

See Options button top right. You’ll see Contents tab and first item is Keep IDs – NO/YES

Did you set the same options for Contents tab on both sites?

In order to diagnose J2XML issues it’s best to use the Export / Import method when you find a problem because that way an XML file is saved and can be sent to Helios Ciancio by email. He is very responsive. Just send it to info@eshiol.it together with a brief explanation and attaching the XML file. More info here: http://www.eshiol.it/

    https://www.joomlart.com/video-tutorials/t3-framework/layout-configuration

Remember that as Magz-ii and Teline IV have different modules and module positions you have to setup Magz-ii modules and menus to best use the content you are importing from your Teline IV site.

Go to template Layout tab and choose Responsive. You’ll then see choices of screen sizes and some positions in the layouts will be red. Click on such positions to enable them for each screen size. SAVE. Test on real devices, not just by squeezing your browser window.
