Hello,
I uploaded your template here using the Quickstart:
http://sandiego-webmaster.com/icwa2/
and I need it to look like this:
http://sandiego-webmaster.com/images/new-header-for-uvite.png
Which image do I need to change in the actual template?Thank you!
March 27, 2009 at 5:13 pm #298526The area you are suggesting is the background section of the page which is found here:
templates/ja_uvite/images/body-bg.jpg
Hope this helps.
Greg
March 27, 2009 at 5:18 pm #298529Thank you so much, but I tried that already, and I believe that’s not the correct one, because the image uploads somewhere around the center of the page. i am guessing that’s the general bacground for the page. Not necessarily the header.
Any other guess?
Thank you,
BeaMarch 27, 2009 at 5:30 pm #298532When you say header I think of where the logo would go. Am I correct in saying that you want to change the background section of the entire page? If so it consists of 2 images
body-bg.jpg and cw-bg.jpg
I would also think that changes would have to made in the template.css (Lines 27 and 588) unless the image sizes you are to be using are the same as the templates default ones.
can you place a link to the images to be used so I can try.

March 27, 2009 at 5:38 pm #298535Hello Greg, thanks again,
yes, I tried both body-bg.jpg, and cw-bg.jpg.
I do not want to change the whole background section, just the top part of the image,
as it appears in the sample I posted:
http://sandiego-webmaster.com/images/new-header-for-uvite.png.When I uploaded the new background to test it, the image tended to stay in the center of the page of the site.
March 27, 2009 at 5:55 pm #298537Im not sure why it is going to the middle of the page for you. I just tested my own install and modified the orginal body-bg.jpg and uploaded. My image stayed to the top of the page. The image you are using to replace body-bg.jpg, is it the same size? Did you make any changes to the template.css?
March 27, 2009 at 6:02 pm #298538Yes, is the same size, not even changed the name, or anything in the css, because of that.
I must be missing something.
I’ll try again, and hopefully I’ll find you around if it doesn’t work.March 27, 2009 at 6:08 pm #298540It may help to post a ticket to tech support.. They have helped me get through some buggy issues with this template. http://support.joomlart.com
You will also run into browser issues with IE 8.0 see my thread here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/page-format-problems-ie8/
Good Luck!
