    Hello,

I would like to create a standard bloglayout. With an image left, soms tekst and a read more button. Just 1 column.
But i don’t know how to do this. When i choose the default template i still get a full width image, even when i didn’t select an image.
    Who can help?

    You can follow steps below

    + Access the Admin site

+ Create new menu item with Menu Item Type: Category Blog

+ Navigate to Blog Layout tab: Columns set to 1

I tried this. But i don’t get de result i want. I would like to show all the images on the left side, not left and right. And the images must stay a certain width. Now they get really big.

@tresoar: You can try to change this way directly on your site

find and remove templates/ja_decor/html/com_content/category/blog_item.php file to blog_item_bk.php file.

Or you can pm URL of your site, admin login and the menu item is working with Blog. I will help you to check it further.

I have received your pm, we have to custom the default blog from templates/ja_decor/html/com_content/category/blog_item.php file but you can show to it as joomla default, this way will help you to do that

    + Backup templates/ja_decor/html/com_content/category/blog_item.php file first

    + Then copy decor/components/com_content/views/category/tmpl/blog_item.php file

    + Paste templates/ja_decor/html/com_content/category/ folder

Thank you for your answer. Only this solution means that the ‘agenda’ en ‘nieuws’ page on my website also change. I only want the ‘publicaties’ page to look like the joomla default blog layout.

I’m afraid that the above solution will apply to all Blog layout pages on your site.
