March 3, 2012 at 4:35 am #174562I just installed a Plugin that inserts OPENGRAPH Meta tags, however this T3 is caching those tags, so on 1 page you will see the same meta tags repeated for every page you have visited.
Therefore how can I make a PLUGIN excluded from caching or any other solution? I do NOT want to turn of any cache’s, the template is slow as it is and turning any cache off makes it unbearable.Thank you in advance for help.

March 19, 2012 at 4:35 am #444448Anyone know?
Or another question: HOW CAN I USE OPENGRAPH WITH THIS TEMPLATE? obviously opengraph is a needed part of any site with articles etc. I have tried everything and nothing works because of the cacheing.

yes, if I turn any of those settings off the site is slower than already is. I have been told to try JotCache, to disable a opengraph module from being cached. Before I move forward with trying that I wanted to check if any other options?
I guess if I get that then I would need to disable t3 cache? (dunno if that will slow speed down tho).n6rej Friendn6rej

Sorry my mistake in previous post, its not a module. Its a plugin so I am unable to exclude it from the cache in t3. And I think the site was super slow without gzip… What happens now if I run a opengraph plugin it shows the opengraph code towards the top of the page like it should, but then when u go to another page it adds on the code for that page or shows the code from the previous page because it was cached. So after viewing a few articles you have x3 opengraph code showing in a article which is fail.
I cant believe no one has created something to make this work, no article site can be without opengraph code. Unless someone knows a way to make opengraph (facebook, googleplus etc) always know to use the article image as the image ???. Because right now they use a banner or any random image loading on the page. Which that is my main problem, I just want to tell open graph the image for a article.
thanks

March 19, 2012 at 8:54 am #444481its nothing to do with that… its the fact your using code that is dynamic but by caching you’ve made it static.
if you compress it with gzip its even more so, Maybe this will help ..

March 19, 2012 at 9:02 am #444483Thanks I will read that in just a bit… 1 last dumb question though, would it be possible for someone or yourself to develop a code or something that would insert this in every page: “meta og image =have-it-insert-url-of-the-article-image-here-automatically” and make that 1 line be excluded from all caches?
Just like how the page title’s or keyword meta’s are changing for every article, dont see why this could not be like them, so that its not cached.thanks
