    Hello!

    I’m using JA_Portfolio in Joomla 1.6 and I would like to modify size of conent (width to 728px) and right module position (width) to 336. How can I do it?

    Many thanks!

    That is quite easy in T3.

    Simply go to the template manager and click on the “Layouts” tab. From there edit the default layout as per the bit on red below.

    The figure “20” means 20% of the overall width will be taken up by the left/right block. Simply increase or decrease this as a percentage of the overall width.

    <blocks name="middle" colwidth="20">
    <block name="content-mass-top" style="raw">content-mass-top</block>
    <block name="inset1" style="jaxhtml">left</block>
    <block name="right1" style="jaxhtml">right</block>
    </blocks>

    Hello!

    I do it and works correctly. Now I see that will be great that we can reduce size of red rectangles (attached in image). How can i reduce it?

    Many thanks!

    Can I have a link to your site? It looks like that is just the remains of the browser window. Having a flexible width site would not be advisable with this layout but I would need a link to be sure.

    Hi phill,

    My website is http://www.nudos.org but i attached an image with Imagelike function (http://viewlike.us/?url=www.nudos.org&button.x=42&button.y=14) because I see that when users access in my website with 1024×768 resolution it shows unstructured design. For this I think that maybe the best option is reduce lateral margins marked with red colour.

    Many thanks!

    No it is not the bard at the side causing that. The bars are simply a repeating background image and would have no effect on the overall page.
    The original JA Portfolio design was designed for a minimum monitor width of 1024. However you have increased that so there is little option for the template to break. We coul add some code that would leave users with a scroll bar at the bottom though. You have expressed the width as a percentage but you could set it to say 1200px

    This will be great, that only when users access with 1024 can view a horizontal scroll bar that can show all. How can i do it? Or do you implement in next template revision?

    Many thanks!

    PD:I love your great support

    If you PM me an admin logon and an ftp account I can look to see where you have set it to a flexible 95% width and adjust it to 1200px if you wish. Please post a link to this thread in your PM.
